Our conversation began when I shared my ambivalence about being a public school teacher and working within a system that at times feels like the antithesis of education. His response contained two words that I’d never heard used together in one sentence: technology and village. I had to hear more.

I love that this segment ends with Junior beautifully summarizing the ideologies that fuel Human Frequency Street Docs: “If we are not communing, if we are not in relationship with one another, we are disconnected. We are ugly, We are dead.”
